CHM Machinery has successfully exported a CHM A4-4 Copy Paper Sheeting and Packaging Production Line to Angola, marking another important project in the company's continued expansion across the African paper converting market.
As demand for office paper continues to grow in Angola, more local paper converters are investing in automated production equipment to increase domestic manufacturing capacity. Driven by rising demand from schools, government agencies, and commercial offices, the market is gradually shifting toward localized production to reduce dependence on imported finished copy paper.
To support this development, the customer selected the CHM A4-4 production line to establish an efficient and automated A4 copy paper converting facility.
The CHM A4-4 is a fully integrated production line that converts jumbo paper rolls into finished cartons of A4 copy paper. The system combines roll handling, slitting, precision sheeting, ream conveying, ream wrapping, and carton packing into one continuous production process, reducing manual labor while improving productivity and product consistency.
Equipped with CHM's double rotary synchronous cutting technology, the machine utilizes helical knife grooves and backlash-free gear transmission to achieve stable high-speed operation. It operates at speeds of up to 280 m/min while maintaining cutting accuracy within ±0.2 mm. The four-roll, four-lane configuration delivers an output of 20 to 35 reams per minute, making it suitable for medium- and large-scale copy paper manufacturers.
