However, for thicker paperboard or applications requiring extremely high cutting quality, a Double Rotary Paper Sheeter may be a better choice. With both the upper and lower knives rotating synchronously, the paper is cut using a true shearing action rather than a pulling action. This produces smoother edges, better sheet squareness, and less paper dust, making it suitable for packaging board, folding box board, and high-end printing applications.
